A nomadic group from Central Asia, the Indo-Scythians migrated to Southern Asia between the second and fourth centuries. For Scythian warriors, horses were imperative in battles: assisting in their conquest of the Indo-Greeks and other local people. The first king of the Indo-Scythian Kingdom was Maues, who ruled from 98 or 85 BCE to 60 or 57 BCE. The reign of the Indo-Scythians came to an end when its last ruler was defeated in 395 CE by Chandragupta II, emperor of the Gupta Empire.

This figurine measures 4" tall by 3" wide.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0801/3260/4158/files/indo-scythian-bronze-horse-figurine-6792287.jpg?v=1779607448
