Paths and Places is a neurodivergent-owned shop for neurodivergent buyers around the world, offering an inside look into the untold stories of history. It began as a passion: understanding how humans evolved, and exploring the impact of humans that came before us. This passion evolved into a dream: to share our love of history with others, and to build a brand that makes a difference. 

Our mission is to change the way people look at history by exploring the stories behind it. We believe that the stories behind the products are just as important as the products themselves. Other history shops sell products, but fail to explore where these products came from. You pay for a product, and you get a product. 

That's where Paths and Places is different. When you purchase a product, you get more than just the product: you get a story. We understand that every historical collectible tells a story, and every story makes up history as we know it. Each one of our products comes with a handwritten papyrus scroll, detailing its historical origin and significance, so that you don't have to find it. 

Your purchase supports small businesses across Alberta. Many of our products are homemade. Many are purchased from other retailers or small businesses.
