South Picene language was native to the Marche and Abruzzo regions of Italy, and dates back to the sixth to fourth centuries. It was spoken by the Picentes, who lived between the ninth and third centuries in east-central Italy. The closest linguistic relative to the South Picene language is Etruscan language; both use Q as K and K as G.
