I'm Danny, the owner and scroll writer behind the shop. I'm a parent and neurodivergent person with a deep interest and passion for history, geography, and sharing interesting stories about lesser-known subjects.

This shop began as a passion: understanding how humans evolved, and exploring the impact of humans that came before us. This passion evolved into a dream: to share our love of history with others, and to build a brand that makes a difference. I want to change the way people look at history by exploring the stories behind it. I believe that the stories behind the products are just as important as the products themselves. Other history shops sell products, but fail to explore where these products came from. You pay for a product, and you get a product. 

That's where Paths and Places is different. When you purchase a product, you get more than just the product: you get a story. Every historical collectible tells a story, and every story makes up history as we know it. Each one product comes with a handwritten papyrus scroll, detailing its historical origin and significance, so that you don't have to look for it. I research the history behind a product, and I write everything myself: because stories are more meaningful when they're written by people, not robots.
