Carved Mayan Haab' Calendar With Glyphs

The Mayan calendar consists of several cycles of varying lengths. It's made up of two interlocking systems that work together like gears: the Tzolk'in combined with a solar year known as the Haab'. The Haab' calendar makes up 365 days. It consists of nineteen glyphs, each corresponding to one month of the year. The last month, Wayeb, contains only five days that were believed to be unlucky. 

This calendar measures eight inches across. Handcrafted in Mexico, it makes an exquisite addition to the home, and stands as a unique statement piece.
