• The Norse carved runes not just as letters, but as intentions: a bind rune weaves together two or more runes into a single symbol of purpose. In Old Scandinavia, bind runes were one of two types of combined runes: the other being Cypher Runes, or Lønnruner. Bind Runes can be categorized in three ways:
Stacked: made with two runes that share an axis, used to manifest a reality.
Same-Stave: a series of runic letters written in a specific order, used to attack a problem
Radial: a combination of runes stemming from a common centre point.
